In October 2006, the Jon Bon Jovi Foundation was created. Jon wanted to feed the hungry and give the option to pay or work for their meal. The idea was genius and risky, but has been paying itself to not only continue, but grow.

In October 2011, Jon opened the JBJ Soul Kitchen. And in May 2016, JBJ Kitchen expanded to open its second location in The Beat Center, in Toms River, NJ.

Since its inception, both kitchens have served over 85,000 meals. Most recently, reaching the goal of 51% paying customers and 49% customers in need. The next time you visit New Jersey, be sure to stop by and experience your meal out.
